MICE

Sometimes mice can be a really bad problem, especially around stored equipment, like tractors, lawnmowers, antique autos etc. Peppermint oil will keep them away as long as the odor is there. Or you can use Dryer sheets like Bounce. Of course these things work better when what you are trying to protect is in a closed area. One fellow had this idea; he likes the peppermint oil, but didn't like having to replenish it every so often. So he used builder's plastic to wrap up his antique auto. What he did was tape 2 strips of the plastic together to make it wide enough to wrap the auto. He laid it on the floor of the garage and put 2 planks on it for the car to set on. Then he put peppermint oil on cotton balls in soda bottle lids and put lots of these in and under the car. Next he folded the plastic over the car from both sides and taped it together. When finished with this, he folded the ends over the front and back and taped these also, completely enclosing the car with lots of oil inside. One thing he really like; you only have walk around the car to see if any mice have chewed a hole in the plastic.

Mice in your drawers? Stick a sheet of Bounce or some peppermint oil in the drawer to solve the problem.   Maybe you would like to keep mice out of the entire house.   Go to www.global-instruments.com and check out the Pest A Cator.  There are two sizes, one covers 1000 square feet and the other 2000 square feet.  You will need to know what size and how many to purchase to completely cover you entire home.

Bet you can think of a lot more uses for both of these.
