   From animals eating them.

In the event you are having a problem with animals like deer, rabbits or groundhogs eating your plants, you can stop them by using the following method. Spray the plants with a fish oil spray, these critters don't like fish smell or taste.

You can make a good fish oil spray with fish oil such as sardine oil, tuna fish oil or cod liver oil.  Mix 2 oz. of oil in a pint of warm water and add 1 teaspoon of dish soap. You might need to strain this mix, depending on where you get the fish oil, so that it will not clog your sprayer. You could also get fish based fertilizer and do the same thing.
